The appetite in the perpetrator was SO GREAT that he pushed the father out and locked the door! Such an appetite is far beyond human reason, deep in the demonic. The photo of the beaten perpetrator reveals a being that has been vacated by his humanity. That we live in human bodies does not necessarily guarantee that our souls will also remain human. As Paul said in Ephesians 6:12, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against a spiritual wickedness in high places.
